A study by Gail Matthews at Dominican University outlines how important it is to set goals and write them down. You are more likely to have success if you put pen to paper. You may also have been taught that you must make your goals SMART – Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Time-Bound.
However I am going to take this concept a step further. I bought a journal from Kikki K which allows you to focus on your core beliefs. You use these as a priority for goal setting and then set goals linked to those beliefs. You reflect on your dream life and set goals to help you achieve that life. I’m already noticing a massive impact that this is having. I have made some positive steps in achieving the life that I want and I’m a lot happier.
